Dutch scientists in most quoted top 100

Seven Dutch scientists feature in the world’s top 100 most quoted chemical scientists.
Professor Anthony L. Spek, Director of the National Single Crystal Service Facility at Utrecht University, is the most quoted. He is followed by Professor Piet Gros (Utrecht University), Dr Navraj Pannu (Leiden University), Professor Bert Meijer (Eindhoven University of Technology), Professor David Reinhoudt (University of Twente), Professor Ben Feringa (University of Groningen) and Professor Evert Jan Baerends (VU University Amsterdam).
Their work covers three research areas: supramolecular chemistry (Meijer, Reinhoudt and Feringa), structural biology and chemistry (Spek, Gros and Pannu) and theoretical chemistry (Baerends).
