The Hague hosts Harvard World Model United Nations conference
06 Jun 2008
In March 2009, the city of The Hague will be host to the Harvard World Model United Nations, a simulation of the United Nations for students. More than 1600 students of over 40 nationalities will be present.
Paris also competed to host the event, but the French capital had to yield to The Hague, which is home to many institutions in the field of international law, such as the International Criminal Court and the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
The conference is organized by Harvard University and the Radboud University Nijmegen in cooperation with the City of The Hague.
