Important news about NPT and NFP programmes

In August 2007, the decision was made to gradually phase out the current NPT and NFP international education programmes between 2008 and 2012.
For the NPT programme, NFP Tailor-Made and NFP Multi-Year Agreements, this means that no further requests for funding of projects or activities can be accommodated, as all available funding has already been allocated. However, proposals can still be submitted via the proper channels for currently existing Multi-Year Agreements.
Nuffic expects that the Dutch Minister for International Cooperation will soon announce a decision on the next generation of the NPT and NFP programmes. These may include funding opportunities similar to those currently available. We should be able to inform you about the future possibilities and procedures in early 2008.
